2008 Provider roadshows

The 2008 nomination period has now closed and the STAR Awards team is delighted to have completed six roadshows across the country. The aim of the roadshows was to promote the STAR Awards and encourage staff and learners to nominate people who had gone the extra mile to support their learning.
STAR Awards nomination period extended to 27 June
To allow for a busy period in the further education and skills sector calendar, the deadline to make nominations for the QIA STAR Awards has been extended to 27 June 2008.
Learners competition
This year the STAR Awards are offering a great prize of a £500.00 digital camera to the workplace, organisation or programme who receives the greatest number of nominations from learners.
Nominator's prize draw

The STAR Awards are your chance to highlight the work of someone who has made a real difference in the further education and skills sector. This year everybody who nominates will not only get the chance to have their unsung hero recognised, but will automatically be entered into a prize draw worth £250 to one lucky winner.
