Provider roadshows
The 2008 nomination period has now closed and the STAR Awards team is delighted to have completed six roadshows across the country. The aim of the roadshows was to promote the STAR Awards and encourage staff and learners to nominate people who had gone the extra mile to support their learning. We received a warm welcome from the providers visited and collected the highest ever number of nominations from learners.
Armed with nomination forms, display stands and goodies, the team visited the following organisations;
Warwickshire College

East Riding College
A big thank you to all of the above organisations for inviting the team to collect nominations on site.
The 2009 nomination period will open later this year and we hope to visit a wider range of further education providers across the UK to collect nominations from learners and staff for the 2009 awards.
